DMEPOS Pharmacy Accredits pharmacies that provide durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies (DMEPOS) and want to bill Medicare. NABP has been approved by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to offer this accreditation.

Accreditation Commission for Health Care

The Accreditation Commission for Health Care is a United States non-profit health care accrediting organization. It represents an alternative to the Joint Commission and CHAP, The Community Health Accreditation Program.

Our Focus

Our focus is on the education and care of those patients that are placed on medications through Pharmacy Specialists. Each patient will be assigned a pharmacist and a nurse specifically trained and knowledgeable regarding the patient’s diagnosis. This helps ensure the best possible outcome for the patient’s specific condition.

Infusion Education

Infusion Education will include explanation of drug therapy, PICC line care and extensive instruction tailored to his or her individualized condition. This personalized care plan provides an easy to understand resource for the patient allowing him or her to regain independence as quickly and comfortably as possible.

Home Health Specialists

Pharmacy Specialists works closely with Home Health Specialists for all patients requiring home health care. We are a “one stop shop” for all your pharmacy and home health needs.

Low Readmit Rate

Pharmacy Specialists has a low Medicare readmit rate of 5.2% as compared to over 15.8% nationally. Keeping our patients out of the hospital is good for our patients and also the hospital systems that can be financially penalized when patients readmit.
